2021 Buckeye Stallion Series kicks off this weekend

The 2021 Buckeye Stallion Series begins this weekend with the first leg in the 3-year-old division scheduled for Friday and Saturday at Miami Valley Raceway. Each race will carry a purse of $17,500, which totals $315,000 for the first leg.

The 3-year-old colts will open the series Friday. Seven divisions of pacers will go to the post with three divisions of trotters scheduled. A total of 63 pacers are entered with 30 trotters scheduled to start.

On Saturday, the fillies take center stage. A total of eight races will take place, four divisions in each the pace and the trot. Thirty-nine filly pacers are scheduled to complete with 36 trotters scheduled to be in action.

The 18 races will feature a total of 168 horses and 93 different trainers.

Post time for Friday is 4:05 p.m. Saturday’s post time is Noon.
