$25,000 Autumn Leaves Series final Wednesday at MGM Northfield Park

Sophomore trotting fillies highlight the Wednesday evening (Nov. 22) show in the Autumn Leaves Series final.

Trainer Christopher Beaver conditions the 3-2 morning-line favorite Contechsfashion (Aaron Merriman) from post five. She was a nose shy of sweeping all four preliminary legs but in round two she was collared as the 1-9 favorite.

Trainer Herman Hagerman sends out the 3-1 second choice Sliding Sister (Hunter Myers) from the rail. The filly is making her first start for Hagerman after posting three straight runner-up finishes with trainer Ron Burke.

Mike Micallef drives and trains longshot Itinerary who is listed at 25-1 starting from the second tier. Itinerary’s lone win in the series came in the second leg when she defeated the aforementioned Contechsfashion.

Post time for the 15-race program on Wednesday is 6 p.m. MGM Northfield Park currently races on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
