Hollywood Casino at The Meadows will race Wednesday and Thursday this week at 12:45 p.m., followed by a Friday evening card at 5:10 p.m. Saturday’s action returns to its regular 12:45 p.m. post this week.

Wednesday’s second race will be the first parimutuel event of the season for 2-year-olds. Eight filly trotters have been entered in an $8,600 maiden trot. The field is split, with four homebreds and four that were purchased at auction last fall. The top-priced youngster in the field is Mis Amigas, a $32,000 yearling purchase last fall by the Dan Altmeyer Stable. She is a daughter of Father Patrick. The lone filly with a mark in the race is Another Chance, an Enterprise filly from the Norm Parker Stable, a winner of a qualifying race in 2:03.2 last week. In all, seven sires are represented. Father Patrick (two), Enterprise, Mission Accepted, Greenshoe, Fordham Road, Captain Corey and Volstead.
