The highly anticipated three-year-old season debut of the undefeated Beau Jangles highlights this Saturday’s racing action at Woodbine Mohawk.
Canadian and U.S. Horse of the Year Beau Jangles will make his season debut in the SBOA 3-Year-Old Colt & Gelding Pace.
The Dr. Ian Moore trained son of Cattlewash put together a dream 12 for 12 two-year-old season, posting marquee wins in the Grade 1 Metro Pace and Grade 1 Breeders Crown. He also was the Ontario Sires Stakes Super Final champion as part of the incredible $1.6 million earning season.
Beau Jangles prepped for his three-year-old debut with a pair of qualifiers at Southern Oaks Training Center in Sorrento, Florida. Bob McClure takes his usual spot behind the undefeated colt.
Tilthecowscomehome raced in the shadow of Beau Jangles throughout 2025, but did rack up more than $370,000 in earnings and was an O’Brien Award finalist. Saturday serves as another opportunity for the Carl Jamieson trainee to try and steal the spotlight as he is one of six rivals taking on the Horse of the Year.
The second elimination (Race 9) for 3-Year-Old Pacing Colts & Geldings shook out as a wide-open affair.
Mike Vanderkemp trainee Windor is the slight 2-1 morning-line favourite. The son of Bulldog Hanover won the Grade 3 Champlain Stakes last season and was second to Beau Jangles in the OSS Super Final.
The field also includes John Pentland trainee Redland Rocket Man, who earned over $178,000 last season, and Ron Burke student Dax Seelster, who won a leg of the Kindergarten Series at The Meadowlands.
