Determination scores double in PA Stallion Series

Three-year-old trotting colts and gelding owned by Determination and trained by Luc Blais captured two of the four $20,000 Pennsylvania Stallion Series divisions on Monday afternoon (May 31) at Pocono Downs.

Starting from post three in the 4th race, On A Streak and driver Bob McClure took the lead after the opening quarter in :28.2 and proceeded through fractions of :57.4 and 1:27.3 to score by a length in 1:56.3 over the Flemsteen and Donato Patriot K.

On A Streak, a three-year-old colt son of Cantab Hall, collected his first win from 2 starts this year.

In the 9th race, Inaminute Hanover took off slowly from the pole position, but made a controlled move to the lead at the quarter mile in 27.2. He led the field past the half in 57.2 and three- quarters in 1:25.3 and turned for home with more than a one-lengths lead in 1:55.3. Ritson and Believer followed the winner.

This effort was the 4th win this season for Inaminute Hanover, a three-year-old gelding of Bar Hopping.
