Draws for the Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks

The draws for the Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks will be held from 2-3 p.m. Monday at Churchill Downs.

The draws will be televised live at KentuckyDerby.com.

The draw for Friday’s $1.25 million Kentucky Oaks will take place first. The Oaks is limited to 14 runners, but up to 18 may enter, with a limit of four on the also-eligible list.

The draw for Saturday’s $3 million Kentucky Derby will take place during the second half of the show. The Derby is limited to 20 runners, but up to 24 may enter, with a limit of four on the also-eligible list.
