Dream Nation seeking first win this season

Two impressive trotters will meet for the first time this year when they compete in 10th race on Monday (January 31) program at Woodbine Mohawk and look poised to be the favorites.

Jacques Dupont trainee Dream Nation stepped back up to the Preferred in his latest and has spent six of his last seven competing in that top class. He now drops back down to NW18000L5 and was the runner-up to White Tiger at this level on January 10th. This 14-time winner has not missed a cheque in his last nine overall and draws an inside post position for the fifth consecutive start. Scott Young will be on the bike and he can be dangerous with the right kind of trip.

His most opponent is All Wrapped Up. He was the easiest kind of winner last week in NW9000L5 when he did not even have a line lifted in his direction when he trotted away from rivals in the stretch to score by nearly five lengths. He was third-over on the final turn and just needed to be shown clear racetrack by Louis-Philippe Roy. That teamster is back in the driver’s seat tonight and that teamster has guided him to 10 of his 16 career victories. This son of Archangel now moves back up in class but should be able to handle this group if he can replicate his latest.
