On Tuesday afternoon (April 19), the draws took place for the finals of the MGM Borgata Pacing Series and Blue Chip Matchmaker Series, which will be held on Monday (April 25) at Yonkers Raceway.

In the $549,000 MGM Borgata Pacing Series final, leading point earner Leonidas A wound up with post six for Austin Siegelman and Sheena Cohen. Leonidas A, a 7-year-old Mach Three gelding owned by Jesmeral Stable, won all four of his preliminary round events and will look to improve on the fifth-place finish he had in last year’s final.

Drama Act, a 5-year-old Well Said mare, was the top point getter in the Blue Chip Matchmaker Series and had fortune on her side in the open draw for the $381,000 final, landing the pole position for driver George Brennan, trainer Ron Burke, and owner-breeder The OK Corral. Drama Act raced in all five legs of the Matchmaker, posting three victories, one runner-up finish, and one third.
