Full fields and 10 races at Hippodrome 3R Friday

The horsemen and women population in Quebec said they wanted to race the next two Fridays and that they can fill the entry box, even on short notice.

And they most certainly came through as there are ten races, many with full fields, for this Friday, September 2. Post time on Friday is 4:00 pm.

There are two co-feature races Friday with a Preferred Trot in the 6th race and a Fillies and Mares Preferred-Handicap Pace in the 9th race.

The Preferred Trot is sure to be a slugfest headed by Kinnder Dangerzone (post 3) for driver Stephane Brosseau. Last week the four-year-old stallion by Northern Escort came first-over and wore down the pacesetter, then scoring a lifetime best 1:58.1 victory. It was his third win in his last five starts for owner-trainer-breeder Denitza Petrova.

Dart Guy (post 4) comes into the race having won his last two starts for driver Robert Shepherd at H3R. Last week he also was able to grind it out first-over and win in 1:59.3. Dart Guy has won three of his last four starts.

The 9th for the mares features the return of Platine Alpha (post 4), who last week was over-looked at odds of 5-1 and wired the field for driver Jimmy Gagnon in 1:58.1. A six-time winner this year for trainer Sylvain Tremblay and his Alpha Stable, Platine Alpha will not be at such high odds against this field.

The race favorite is Coz Im Special from the far outside in post eight. She is trained and driven by Michel Lagace and has finished second in her last five starts. She figures to be grinding it out once again.

Also in the field is return winner Arrhythmogenic (post 2), Sophies Cam (post 1) and Fancy Girl (post 5).
