Griff looks to click in Mohawk Million

Jeff Thomson’s 2-year-old grandson Griffin is too young to understand racing but old enough to know his name. So, when Griffin was shown a replay of 2-year-old male trotter Griff winning a race earlier this season, he was enthralled.

“He had to get mom to show it to him several more times because he could hear his name being called in the race,” Thomson said. “He thought that was pretty cool.”
