Racing resumes Wednesday at Gulfstream Park’s Championship Meet with a $300,000 estimated pool in the 20-cent Rainbow 6 and a mandatory payout Sunday that could reach $3 million.
First race post Wednesday is 12:50 ET.
The Rainbow 6 sequence Wednesday begins with Race 4, a maiden claimer at a mile and 70 yards on the Tapeta. It also includes two turf races, both maiden claimers, and a 6 ½ furlong allowance optional claimer for fillies and mares.
Gulfstream’s week of racing includes the return of 2023 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) winner and 2024 Kentucky Oaks (G1) runner-up Just F Y I and Black-Eyed Susan (G2) winner Gun Song. Saturday’s program includes the $115,000 Captiva Island for fillies and mares on the turf and the $115,000 Hutcheson Stakes for 3-year-olds, while Sunday’s feature will be the $115,000 Any Limit for 3-year-old fillies.
