Hippodrome 3R Adds a Friday card

Hippodrome 3R has added a 4 p.m. live harness racing program to its schedule this week on Friday, Sept. 2.

The draw for this Friday’s added card will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 31 with entries due by 11 a.m.

The draw for the Sunday, Sept. 4 program will be held on Thursday, Sept. 1 with entries due at 11 a.m. First-race post time on Sunday remains 12 noon.

“Last Friday, we handled nearly $110,000 on the 10-race card,” said Claude Levesque, Chairman of the Quebec Jockey Club. “Our horsemen said they have the horses to fill the cards both Friday and Sunday, so we went to the commission and they gave us the approvals.”
