Woodbine Mohawk Park continues their exciting Standardbred Holiday racing program featuring stakes finals and a mandatory Jackpot Hi5 payout ready to make someone’s holiday wishes come true.

The festivities kick off on Thursday (Dec. 23), with the $489,248.24 mandatory JackPot Hi5 waiting to be claimed. In addition, a trio of Pop-Up Event series for both pacers and trotters are scheduled, with post time at 7 p.m.

Woodbine Mohawk Park will not race on Friday (Dec. 24) or Saturday (Dec. 25), as our horse people and staff enjoy time with their families.

On Dec. 26, an action-packed, 13 race, Boxing Day matinee is scheduled, including the Niagara Pacing Series Final for three-year-old filly pacers. After being delayed a week, the second leg of the Valedictory Series will also resume for three-year-old pacing colts, with the Preferred Pace the cherry on top of a stellar day. Post time for the Boxing Day card is 1 p.m.

The regular racing schedule will resume on Dec. 27 with the Claiming Pop-Up Event final, the second leg of the Condition Pop-up Pacing Event, and the Preferred Trot. Racing will continue Dec. 30, both with 7:00 p.m. post times.

Continuing with the celebrations, bring in 2022 with your favorite equine friends as the New Year’s Eve card begins at 7 p.m.

After celebrating the stroke of midnight, racing will return on New Year’s Day with the Valedictory Series Final. Post time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
