McPeek Reviews His Multiple Kentucky Derby Chances

This year could mark the second time trainer Kenny McPeek has had multiple starters in the Kentucky Derby (G1) following his duo of Toyota Blue Grass (G1) winner Java’s War and Frac Daddy in 2013.

McPeek’s headliners this season include Smile Happy, a candidate for Saturday’s Toyota Blue Grass, and Tiz the Bomb, winner of the Castle & Key Bourbon (G2) last year on Keeneland’s turf course, who won the April 2 Jeff Ruby Steaks (G3) at Turfway Park.
