Three Chimneys Farm and Walking L Thoroughbreds’ four-time winner Envoutante was made the heavy 4-5 morning line favorite in Saturday’s $150,000 Shawnee Stakes at Churchill Downs.

Envoutante, a 4-year-old daughter of Uncle Mo, finished one-length behind top filly Shedaresthedevil in the $500,000 La Troienne (Grade I) on the undercard of the Longines Kentucky Oaks (GI). Trained by Kenny McPeek, Envoutante had a solid 3-year-old campaign with victories in the $100,000 Remington Park Oaks (GIII) and $200,000 Falls City (GII) against elders.

The Shawnee, run at 1 1/16 miles, will go as Race 7 of 11 with a post time of 3:50 p.m. The race can serve as a prep for the $300,000 Fleur de Lis (GII), run on June 26 beneath the Twin Spires. The Fleur de Lis will offer an automatic berth to the Longines Breeders’ Cup Distaff (GI) on Nov. 6 at Del Mar.

The complete field for the Shawnee from the rail out (with jockey, trainer): Microcap (James Graham, Grant Forster, 30-1); La Renoleta (ARG) (Ricardo Santana Jr., Steve Asmussen, 8-1); Istan Council (Joe Rocco Jr., Larry Jones, 8-1); Miss Bigly (Martin Garcia, Phil D’Amato, 6-1); High Regard (Rafael Bejarano, Vicki Oliver, 15-1); Goodbye Earl (Drayden Van Dyke, Dave Vance, 15-1); Envoutante (Brian Hernandez Jr., Kenny McPeek, 4-5); and Paris Lights (Tyler Gaffalione, Bill Mott, 4-1).
