Penn National Set to host $400,000 Penn Mile

Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course is pleased to present the ninth running of the $400,000 Penn Mile this Friday, June 3.

The one-mile turf event has attracted a talented field of eight 3-year-olds and some of the nation’s top riders including Irad Ortiz Jr., Flavien Prat, Kendrick Carmouche, and Paco Lopez. The racing action gets underway at 5pm with the Penn Mile scheduled to go to post at approximately 7:45pm as race #6 on an 11-race card.

The Penn Mile card also includes the $150,000 Penn Oaks, $100,000 With Anticipation Stakes, $100,000 Lyphard Stakes, $100,000 Danzig Stakes, and $100,000 New Start Stakes. In addition, there will be a mandatory payout of the Hollywood Jackpot Hi-5 in race #7.
