Pocono adds $5,000 guarantee to Pick-5 Monday

Pocono Downs at Mohegan Pennsylvania announced that they’ll guarantee a $5,000 pool for their daily Pick-5 wager on Monday, September 22. The Pick 5 at Pocono takes place every racing day, starting with race five and continuing through race 9 on the card.

Saturday marked the second straight racing day that no one was able to hit the Pocono Pick 5. The carryover originally stood at $2,299.10. Pocono racing management decided to more than double that amount for the wagering faithful and make it an even $5,000.

Post time at Pocono on Monday is 1 p.m. There are 14 races on the Monday program.
