Progress Pace at Bally’s Dover attracts 12 horses

The Progress Pace for 3-year-old male pacers at Bally’s Dover attracted 12 horses, leading to two $35,000 eliminations Thursday. The top-four finishers from each elim will advance to the Nov. 23 final at Dover.

In the first elimination, I Did It Myway will start from post one with Fourever Boy, Ario Hanover, Captain Cowboy, Beach Glass, and Night Hawk lining up to his outside.

The second elimination finds Breeders Crown champion Pebble Beach starting from post four, with Energetic Hanover, Birthday, and Mad Max Hanover to his inside and Vicious and Market Based to his outside.

Racing begins at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. The Progress Pace eliminations are races eight and 12 on the 15-race card.
