Quebec Gala of Champions is postponed

The Quebec Jockey Club authorities did not have much choice, as most of us can imagine. And so it is that in recent days, the director of operations at H3R, François Carignan, announced the postponement of the Quebec Gala of Champions awards banquet that was to be held on January 15, 2022.

The new restrictions from the Public Health of Quebec, which now prohibit any indoor gathering whatsoever, left little choice for the gala committee.

For the moment, the solution chosen is to postpone the gala until the beginning of the new 2022 race season, somewhere at the end of April, at the beginning of May. The place to hold it will also remain to be specified.
