Richard Veilleux is re-elected as mayor

Driver-trainer Richard Veilleux has been re-elected as mayor of Saint-Hughes near Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec for a third consecutive term. Veilleux received 39.6 per cent of ballots cast to 31.8 per cent for Michaël Bernier and 28.6% for Thomas Fortier-Pesant

He had been elected without opposition for the first time in 2013 and re-elected without opposition in 2017.
