Seeded Pick 5 pool to be offered on Thursdays at Yonkers

Those that say nothing in this world is free may need to visit MGM Yonkers Raceway on Thursday nights to check out a new can’t-miss Pick 5 opportunity.
Starting March 30 and running for at least four weeks, the Pick 5 at MGM Yonkers will be seeded with $10,000 each Thursday courtesy of the Standardbred Owners Association of New York. The $10,000 will in effect serve as a man-made carryover to provide a unique wagering opportunity for customers.
In addition to the seeded money, the total pool for the Thursday Pick 5’s will be guaranteed at $25,000 in partnership with the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program. The sequence runs from races five through nine with a 50-cent minimum wager.
