Simply Ravishing, Crazy Beautiful Breeze for G2 Gulfstream Oaks

At 1h05, on March 22, 2021 By GULFSTREAM PARK

Kenny McPeek-trained Simply Ravishing and Crazy Beautiful prepared for next Saturday’s $200,000 Gulfstream Park Oaks (G2) while breezing five furlongs in 1:01.31 in company at Gulfstream Park Saturday morning.

“It went perfect. I’m planning on entering them both,” McPeek said. “They didn’t let either filly out. They just held them together the whole way.”

Simply Ravishing, who is scheduled to make her 2021 debut in the GP Oaks, won her first three starts, including the Alcibiades (G1) at Keeneland, before finishing fourth after bobbling at the start in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1).

Crazy Beautiful, a stakes-winning daughter of Liam’s Map who finished second in the Alcibiades, finished second in the Feb. 27 Davona Dale (G2) at Gulfstream in her 3-year-old debut.
