Six-figure Early Pick-5 Wednesday at Hoosier

The week of racing is set to kick off with a bang at Harrah’s Hoosier Park with a $100,000 guaranteed Early Pick-5 in races 1-5, including a $25,226 carryover already in the pool for Wednesday (April 22).
First post for the 14-race Wednesday program is 5:30 p.m. The Wednesday card also features $10,000 guarantees in both the Late Pick-4 (races 11-14) and Late Hoosier High-5 (race 14), with both of those guarantees offered each Wednesday in partnership with the USTA’s Strategic Wagering program. All Pick-4 and High-5 wagers also carry an industry low takeout rate of 12%.
The Wednesday night program is headlined by the $22,000 Open Trot in race 6, where Ponda Jet will look to extend his win streak to eight dating back to last year for Kyle Wilfong and Jay Hochstetler as the 7-5 morning-line choice from the outside post 7.
