Tioga to host NYSS on Sunday

Tioga Downs welcomes two divisions of the New York Sire Stakes for 3-year-old trotting colts on Sunday (May 29).

The David Menary trained World At War Deo (Jody Jamieson) is the 2-1 morning line favorite in the $60,300 first division of the NYSS. The 3-year-old colt by Chapter Seven races for the first time in 2022. He had four wins as a freshman.

Cool Papa Bell (Brian Sears) is the 2-1 top choice out of a field of nine in the $61,400 second division. The gelding by Chapter Seven is trained by Jim Campbell. He is one-for-one in 2022. The gelding has won four times in his career and has amassed $140,974 in earnings.

The 14-race card starts at 1 p.m.
