Undefeated Wild Dream Man (Kadabra) will try for his fourth straight harness racing victory Sunday (Aug. 27) at the Hippodrome 3R, headlining one of four divisions of the Future Stars Series for two-year-old trotters and pacers.

This is the third and final preliminary round of the series. Afterwards the top eight point earners will return to H3R for Super Sunday, September 10, where they will race in their respective finals for $55,000.

A two-year-old gelding, Wild Dream Men has yet to taste defeat in his young career as he even won his lone qualifying race before entering the Future Stars Series.

Trained and driven by Guy Gagnon, Wild Dream Men is owned by prominent Quebec breeders and owners Catheline Pelleteir and Chantal Gravel.

Starting from post six in the 2nd race $10,000 division for the colts and geldings, Wild Dream Men is the 6/5 morning line favorite. He raced last week at H3R, scoring a two and one-quarter length victory in 2:02.3, his fastest winning time yet for the young trotter.

In the filly counterpart for the trotters takes place in the 11th race $10,000 division headlined by Kenogami Queen (Wheeling N Dealin), who has won two of her three starts this season.

She will start from post five for driver Stephane Brosseau and trainer Jean-Francois Reid. Reid bred and co-owns the filly with his wife, Marie Claude and Mario Menard.

Kenogami Queen has won her last two starts, both in the series, the fast victory in 2:04.3.

Another undefeated starter, Ronda Du Lac (Shadow Play) is featured in the 7th race $10,000 division for two-year-old pacing fillies.

She has won both her starts in the series for driver Pierre-Luc Roy and goes from post eight. She has a mark of 2:00 and was bred and is co-owned by Louis-Philippe Roy with Maude Larouche, Michel Letarte and Jean Allaire.

Her main rivals will be Breedingbankrupsy (post 4), Ma Diva (post 5) and the entry of The Heart Valley (post 2) and Wicked Discovery (post 6).

There are two $7,500 divisions of the Future Stars Series for the pacing colts and geldings.

The first division is the 5th race headed by Boomboom Tonight (Sportswriter), who has won two of his four starts for driver Marc Belanger. She is trained by Elizabeth Pothier, who bred and owns the gelding. He has a record of 1:59.3 taken just last week.

The second division is the 9th race featuring two return winners in the field. Both Gold Nugget (Sportswriter) from post two and Love That Miramont (Sportswriter) in post five captured their respective Future Stars Series divisions last week. Gold Nugget goes from post two for driver Jocelyn Gendron. He is trained by Guy Roy for owner-breeder Richard Desrosiers while Love That Miramont starts from post five for driver Jean Bernard Renaud. He is trained and was bred and owned by Michele Raymond.

First race post time on Sunday is 12:00 noon for the 12-race card.
