Woodbine Standardbred adjusts claiming prices

The Woodbine Standardbred Race Office today announced increases in claiming prices for several classes at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

The adjusted claiming prices is in effort to increase the value of the horses racing in higher level claiming races. The following classes will see a price increase beginning Monday, March 6:

$11,000 to $14,000 Claiming Handicap increased to $12,000 to $16,000
$15,000 to $20,000 Claiming Handicap increased to $17,000 to $22,000
$22,000 to $30,000 Claiming Handicap increased to $25,000 to $35,000

Live racing continues each Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Woodbine Mohawk Park. Post time is 7 p.m.
