Yonkers Cancels Tuesday Cards

Following the track’s annual brief hiatus coming into June, Yonkers Raceway has announced that racing — set to resume Monday (June 7) and continue Tuesday (June 8) — has been cancelled.

Per a tweet from the Standardbred Owners Association of New York, the Yonkers’ race office said the cancellation of the Monday and Tuesday cards was “due to continuing work to improve track conditions.”
