In this race, some horses leave Bob Baffert’s stable to join
a new team, what Mr Baffert often does with horses
that he considers less talented but paid high price. The Lord Simba # 6
at 5/1 is one of those. This horse will be at his 7th start for life on
3 years old and it is for this reason that this horse paid $ 300,000 will be to claim
for $ 12,500 … red flag! The # 2 Fareeq at 6/1 is one of the horses to watch.
He has just been claimed after a nice win as favorite on 5½ Furlongs
and this movement is lateral, which makes it a threat and should not be
surprised if he won this race.

The # 7 Lookie Loo (8/1) is the second horse that leaves the Baffert stable but for Diodoro. He too does not have many departures for life; only 8 to 5 years old but he’s a sprinter
and on this distance, he rides a speed figure in the 90’s and over.

The # 10 Aquamarine has no win since 2017 but 3 second place. He drops a lot of class despite his race times and results
are excellent. During these last 3 starts on this distance, the races
have been in fast times, 1:09, and knocked on the door twice. A
1:10 here against this group will be enough to win.
