On February 28 it became official that Pompano Park would race in the fall of 2021 and through May 2022 when track management applied for 126 harness racing dates for the fiscal year starting July 1, 2021 and ending June 30, 2022.

Negotiations between the Florida Standardbred Breeders and Owners Association and Caesars Entertainment, which owns the facility, will continue with the hopes of determining the future of racing in Florida past May 2022.
