A Key Trifecta

At 9h00, on September 1, 2018 By Christian Gendron

On September 1st at Woodbine Mohawk Park in the 10th race (The Maple Leaf Trot $ 651,000), a bet on No 3 Marion Marauder (3/1) with 2,5,7,8 and 2,5,7,8 with 3 and a Key Trifecta on 3 with 2,4,5,7,8 and 2,5,7,8 with 3 with 2,4,5,7,8. Last year’s winner, No 7 Hannelore Hanover will want to take the lead and with No 4 Ariana G and No 5 Will Take Charge inside, the first quarter-mile may be fast. And if so, Hannelore should run out of juice in the last 50 feet as in his last three starts. No 3 Marion Marauder is my choice because I expect a first half mile fast enough but it will have to be covered and I believe that Scott Zeron will have a necessary flow to enable him to win this event.

Proposed bet: Septembre 1st, Woodbine Mohawk Park, race 10

Exacta : 3 with 2,5,7,8

Exacta : 2,5,7,8 with 3

(Exacta: Choose two horses that must finish first and second, in the chosen order)

Key Trifecta: 3 with 2,4,5,7,8

Trifecta: 2,5,7,8 with 3 with 2,4,5,7,8

(Trifecta: Choose the three horses that will finish in order at the finish line)

(Key: like a Box, the key allows you to buy all possible combinations but only the ones where the selected key horse is first. Be aware that every combination raises the ticket cost)
