A perfect race for Stargirl

A perfect race for Stargirl

At 9h00, on August 16, 2018 By Christian Gendron

On August 16th at Gulfstream in the 5th race (5½ Furlongs | main | maiden), a $ 20 Win and Placed bet on No 6 Stargirl (9/2), as well as a $ 3 Exacta on 6 with 3,5,8, and $ 1 on 3,5,8 with 6 and a Key Trifecta at $ 2 on 6 with 3,5,7,8.  No 5 Bring Joy shows us four starts including three of quality, finishing second in three occasions but the loss of distance against the winner in the straight line suggests that she is not yet strong enough mentally to meet the adversity.  No 7 Umetuka shows us an identical scenario in two starts in addition to showing us five months of absence, which is normally worrying for a two-years-old filly.  No 6 Stargirl, paid $ 300,000, will be in his first start for life and his trainer David Fawkes shows us a snoring 20 % average and this class seems perfect for this filly.

Jockey: Tyler Gaffalione 23 % – Coach: David Fawkes 15 %

Proposed bet: August 16th, Gulfstream, race 5

Win and Placed: Horse No 6

(Win: the chosen horse must finish first at the finish line)

(Placed: the chosen horse must finish among the first two at the finish line)

Exacta: 6 with 3,5,8

Exacta: 3,5,8 with 6

(Exacta: Choose two horses that must finish first and second, in the chosen order)

Key Trifecta: 6 with 3,5,7,8

(Trifecta: Choose the three horses that will finish in order at the finish line)

(Key: like a Box, the key allows you to buy all possible combinations but only the ones where the selected key horse is first. Be aware that every combination raises the ticket cost)
