This race is rather an elimination of horses that are in difficulty. No 1 Ascendant, No 6 Lively Larry and No 8 Followyourdestiny are in trouble. They have more than five starts in 2019 and the majority have not progressed and I would be surprised if it happens tonight. No 2 Somewhere Bettor and No 5 Sundirewindrain will be on their first start and nothing suggests a good thing .So it remains the No 3 Stroman 3/1 who will be on his fourth start for life and this horse shows nothing. It is difficult to know the strategy that will be used because the previous three starts, he used the same tactic either to keep his position at the start and hope. No 4 Mach Diesel 7/2 will be on his second start and his first match was his qualification of staying along the cones and following the parry but it is possible that the tactic changes today and that McNair is trying to find out that the horse has in the tank by pushing it forward. No 7 Super Fine Credit 9/2 broke his maiden in Flamboro in December before spending a few weeks in Florida, and during his three starts in the US, he improved his performances on every occasion and even if I am not a fan of horses coming from a long journey, he remains the one who showed the most talent and he did it forward.
