Buckeye Stallion Series highlights Sunday card at Delaware

The opening program at the Delaware County Fair, Sunday (Sept. 19), will feature Buckeye Stallion Series action for 3-year-old filly and colt-gelding trotters. There will be two filly divisions and three divisions of colt-gelding trotters, each with a purse of $17,500.

Sixteen fillies will be split into two divisions, while 25 colts and geldings will meet in three divisions.

Three fillies, Magic Credit Card, Chip It In and Cash N Chips have each won two legs in the Stallion Series.

Magic Credit Card, the daughter of Credit Fashion is trained by Chris Beaver and has won four of 18 this year.  Chip It In by Break The Bank K is also trained by Beaver and has 11 wins in 22 starts.  The Cash Hall filly, Cash N Chips, is trained by Steven Bush and has won six times in 18 starts.

Chip It In and Cash N Chips will square off in the second division.

The first of five days of racing at the Delaware County Fairgrounds begins Sunday at 1 p.m.
