Century Mile cancels live racing

Century Mile Racetrack and Casino announced on its web site to cancel live racing on January 12 and January 13 due to the extreme cold temperatures forecasted for this weekend.

“The health and safety of our horses and horsemen are our top priority. We appreciate your understanding”, it is noted.

The forecasted temperature for this weekend is bvetween -35 and -30.
