Finals in Woodbine

At 9h00, on October 13, 2018 By Christian Gendron

October 13th at Woodbine (The Great Gold Finals at Woodbine), $ 225,000 for each race, my analysis and my choices:

Race 2 (three years old filly):

Fastest of the group No 3 Sorceress Seelster (3/1) broke his pace on his last start, which was more than 30 days old. No 1 Smoke and Mirrors also broke his pace on his last start and shows us nothing good for two months. No 4 Illusioneesta (7/2) shows us a miss but also the most money won and she beat the favorite earlier this year.

4-6-3-7

Race 3 (two years old colt):

No 2 Forbidden Trade is the best for the Montreal connection of Luc Blais and Determination Montreal.

Key Trifecta: 2 with 4,5,8,9

Race 5 (two years old filly):

No 4 Powerful Chris (5/2) is the favorite. She picks up checks but she is not a winner. We could say the same thing about No 6 Ideation Hanover (7/2) but she is the horse to beat. We will try our luck with a neglected, No 2 (10/1) Summer Charm who is back at David Menary and she will have Yannick Gingras… good mile to predict.

Win and Placed No 2

Trifecta 0.20 cents: 2,6,9 with 2,4,6,8,9 with 2,4,6,8,9

Race 6:

Check out the choice of my colleague Marc Derepentigny who offers you an opportunity on Presto Change O (4/1) with Sylvain Filion.

Race 7 (three years old foals):

Run Director Ben Baillergeon led by Sylvain Filion is not as strong as in the past but he is the horse to beat. When he runs against the Ontarians, he is the best and we can see a second place at Mets Hall and this horse would be 1/9 against this group.

Key Trifecta: 8 with 2,4,6,7

Race 8 (two years old foals):

No 1 Stage Party is alone.

Key Trifecta: 1 with 2,3,4,5,6

Race 9 (three years old fillies):

No 3 kendall Seelster (3/1) could cause a surprise if it’s called a surprise because it’s the second choice but we have to give the advantage to Percy Bluechip (5/2) who will be on his third start for the coach King Ron Burke and Yannick Gingras’ experience will pay off.

Trifecta (1st and 2nd) 6 with 3,5 with 2,3,5,8

Race 10 (three years old foals):

This race is the business of three horses: No 4 The Downtown Bus, No 5 Backstreet Shadow and No 9 Jimmy Freight. I like the Jimmy with Louis-Philippe Roy but the opposition is excellent, especially the second horse entered by Richard Moreau, No 5 Backstreet Shadow, which is regular in 1:49 under the guidance of Yannick Gingras but I I will stay loyal to Jimmy who has fought the best three years in America and I respect that.

Win and Placed No 9

Proposed bet: October 13, Woodbine, races 2 to 10
