Five new Pop-Up Series announced at Woodbine Mohawk

Woodbine Mohawk Park’s Race Office has released the details for five new Pop-Up Series. (All money below is Canadian dollars.)

The first Pop-Up will be open to trotting horses that have started for a purse of $9,000 or less in 2026 and are non-winners of $50,000 in 2025.

The dates and purses for each leg are as follows:

LEG 1- Friday, March 13 – $14,000
LEG 2- Friday, March 20 – $14,000
FINAL- Friday, March 27 – $20,000

The next Pop-Up will be open to pacing horses that have started for a purse of $11,000 or less in 2026 and are non-winners of $120,000 in 2025.

The dates and purses for each leg are as follows:

LEG 1- Saturday, March 14 – $16,000
LEG 2- Saturday, March 21 – $16,000
FINAL- Saturday, March 28 – $30,000

The next Pop-Up will be open to trotting horses that have started for a purse of $11,000 or less in 2026 and are non-winners of $120,000 in 2025.

The dates and purses for each leg are as follows:

LEG 1- Sunday, March 15 – $16,000
LEG 2- Sunday, March 22 – $16,000
FINAL- Sunday, March 29 – $30,000

Next, this Pop-Up will be open to pacing horses and geldings claiming for $7,500 (allowances for age). Must race in 2 legs to be eligible for the final.

The dates and purses for each leg are as follows:

LEG 1- Sunday, March 15 – $8,500
LEG 2- Sunday, March 22 – $8,500
LEG 3- Sunday, March ​ 29 – $8,500
FINAL- Sunday, April 5 – $18,000

And lastly, this Pop-Up will be open to pacing fillies and mares claiming for $7,500 (allowances for age). Must race in 2 legs to be eligible for the final.

The dates and purses for each leg are as follows:

LEG 1- Monday, March 16 – $8,500
LEG 2- Monday, March ​ 23 – $8,500
LEG 3- Monday, March ​ 29 – $8,500
FINAL- Monday, April 6 – $18,000
