Forge the strong finisher

At 9h00, on March 3, 2019 By Christian Gendron

Sunday March 3rd, Aqueduct, Race 3 (6 Furlongs | Dirt)

Win, Place: # 6
Trifecta: 6 (1st & 2nd) with 2,3,4,5 with 2,3,4,5

# 6 Forge 4/1

The # 3 Happy Farm 8/5 is established favorite and will be at its first start in
3 months. This horse often needs to be stimulated to respond. He will have
no doubt need this departure to resume the form. The # 2 Malibu Action 2/1 is the
second choice. He just won in 12K claimings and rides a lot
of class be in the horses claimed for $ 30K and this even if it comes from
win in 1: 10,22 on this distance which is rather fast. Often a horse who
riding class does not repeat their time because the opposition is stronger and
especially braver. The # 5 Aristocratic 7/2 has just finished 3rd against my
choice by crossing fast fractions at ¼ 21.4 and 45.2 at ½ and had
more energy in the last meters. I do not like a horse that is exhausted
at the end of the race because even if he passes more slowly the next start, the bad mania is
anchored in him. The # 6 Forge 4/1 is the one with the most class and will be at his second start
after a few months of absence. Stay calm behind the leader group
to then explode in the final stretch when he sees the slowdown of his opponents is his favorite strategy.
