No 2 SJ Better Days (5/2) is a favorite because it drops class but it is zero in 14 starts since they arrived in Pompano and nothing suggests a jump because the connection is always the same. No 8 Madewell Hanover just beat my choice in qualifying because he stayed up, which he does not do often. This horse breaks his pace three times out of four and from this position, with no change of equipment, I foresee a break of pace when his driver will want to control it. No 4, this protégé of Marc Major has just qualified without a hitch and he will have Wally Hennessey as driver, who wins 50 % of his starts.
