Meadowlands cancels Sunday race card

At 0h52, on January 18, 2026 By Dave Little, Meadowlands Media Relations

Due to the impending winter storm expected to hit New Jersey and the surrounding area, Sunday’s (Jan. 18) 13-race program at The Meadowlands has been canceled.

“It’s getting here and getting home that could provide a problem,” said track Chief Operating Officer and General Manager Jason Settlemoir. “The early part of the day looks like it could be unsafe for traveling and we always want to look out for our horsemen and our equine athletes. As a result, we thought it was best to cancel our Sunday live program.”
