Opportunity

On September 25th at Parx in the 4th race (5½ Furlongs | Dirt | Maiden), a Win and Placed bet on No 5 Gotta Be Strong (3/1), an Exacta on 5 with 3,6,7, an Exacta on 3,6,7 with 5, a Key Trifecta on 5 with 3,6,7,8 and a Trifecta on 5,7 with 5,6,7 with 3,5,6,7,8. No 6 True Upgrade (6/5) even though he is 0 in 2 for life and who was at 17/1 on his last start to finally finish third, distanced in 1:07:22. The only positive point is that it will be at its third start with a slight drop in class. My choice No 5 Gotta Be Strong will only be at her second start but she is leaving the maidens (no career win) “condition for a tag”, which means she joins the “maidens claiming”, which is lighter as opposition. In addition, during her only start, she was stuck in the barrier to be last but managed to join the group to the quarter mile but she had to slow down because it was blocked along the ramp. Once cleared, she rushed but still finished sixth in a time of 1:06:34. Thoroughbred experts will tell you that it is impossible to miss the start and be in a race of only 5½ Furlongs because all the horses are at full speed for three quarters of the race.
