“Podium Mission” for Cobalt Man

At 7h00, on October 21, 2018 By Ghislain Paquet

On October 21st at Rideau in the 4th race, an Exacta Box bet on No 2 Cobalt Man with 1,3,5,7 and a Trifecta on 2 (1st and 2nd) with 1,3,5,7 with 1,3,5,7,8. Here he is back in the class where he had signed a convincing lead victory in mid-September (last quarter in 27:4). From this inside position, rest assured that Guy Gagnon’s strategy will not be that of coming back from behind. He will be respected as a horse to win.

Among the opposition:

No.1 Rose Run Ranger: Third start at Matt Macdonald with finally an inside position.

No 3 Tymal Peacemaker: Cannon qualification for this protected Bayama Farm back after two months of rest.

No.5 HP Patriot: Significant drop in class for the one who also won at a lower level a month ago (1:54:2).

No 7 Canadian Edition: With some excellent final times and podium finishes in three of its last four, here’s an effective lover these days who will be handicapped from a very tough position on the outside. A heavy handicap in this class.

Proposed bet: October 21th, Hippodrome 3R, race 4

Exacta in box: 2 with 1,3,5,7

Trifecta: 2 (1st and 2nd) with 1,3,5,7 with 1,3,5,7,8

  • Box: This bet allows you to buy all possible combinations for selected bet and selected horses. Be aware that every additional combination will raise your ticket value.
  • Trifecta: Choose 3 horses that will finish first, second and third, in selected order
