Red Shores Announces Spring Meet Opener

Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park is pleased to announce the opening date for the Spring meet.

Racing returns to the island on Saturday, May 8—one week later than initially planned. First-race post time every night will be 5:00 p.m. The decision was made after consulting with horse people and harness racing industry groups. This will officially launch the countdown to the 62nd running of the Guardian Gold Cup & Saucer. Red Shores will be announcing an exciting line-up of promotions and events in the coming weeks.

Red Shores Summerside will open for the season on Monday, May 24 at 12 p.m. The Prince County oval will also hold a card on Sunday, May 30 at 12 p.m.
