See you Men will look to get back

As his racing career slowly nears its end, the trotter See You Men is still of great interest every time he appears on the track. That will be the case again on Thursday afternoon as the 11-year-old son of Muscle Mass will look to avenge while Donatover beat him in his last two starts in the feature event at the Rideau-Carleton Raceway.

Owned by Catheline Pelletier and Chantal Gravel, the pride of its connections will be making its 200th career start and its record is impressive with 43-56-31 for earnings of more than $450,000.

Last week, See You Men rattled off fractions of 27.2, 57 and 1.25.2 before to concede defeat in 1.55.1, 2/5ths of a second off their personal best. It was a second consecutive win and a third success on the Gloucester track for Donatover.

Trained by owner John Macmillan, Donatover made his career at The Meadows racetrack where he had his best performance three years ago in a 1.52.1 mile.

A duel of titans will therefore be on the 9th race at Rideau-Carleton with a post time at 4:00 p.m.
