Six races in a row

Six races in a row

At 9h00, on August 25, 2018 By Christian Gendron

August 25 at Saratoga (Traversal Day) in races 6 to 11.

Race 6 (7 Dirt Furlongs | Grade 1 | $ 500,000), a $ 1 Trifecta bet on No 1 Promises Fulfilled (8/5). It’s the horse to beat. At the beginning of the season, he beat Good Magic who is the headliner of today in the Travers.

Proposed Bet: August 25th, Saratoga, race 6

Win and Placed: Horse No 1

Trifecta: 1 with 3,6 with 3,5,6,7,8 and 3,6 with 1 with 3,5,6,7,8

(Trifecta: Choose the three horses that will finish in order at the finish line)

Race 7 (1M1 / 8 Dirt | Rank 1 | $ 700,000), a $ 20 Win and Placed bet on No 4 Wow Cat. There are only six horses with two big favorites, No 1 Abel Tasman (6/5) and No 6 Elate (7/5). There should be action as No 5 Farrell (6/1) likes the lead so I want a horse fight to allow No 4 Wow Cat (4/1) to style them over. He will be back on a regular schedule of one race per month.

Proposed Bet: August 25th, Saratoga, race 7

Win and Placed: Horse No 4

(Win: the chosen horse must finish first at the finish line)

(Placed: the chosen horse must finish among the first two at the finish line)

Race 8 (7 Dirt Furlongs | Grade 1 | $ 500,000), a $ 1 Trifecta bet. A most balanced race of the day so it will be necessary to play with luck, I suggest you No 5 Finley’sluckycharm (3/1).

Proposed Bet: August 25th, Saratoga, race 8

Win and Placed: Horse No 5

Trifecta: 5 with 2,6,7,9 with 2,3,6,7,8,9 and 2,6,7,9 with 5 with 2,3,6,7,8,9

(Trifecta: Choose the three horses that will finish in order at the finish line)

Race 9 (7 Dirt Furlongs | Grade 1 | $ 600,000), a $ 1 Trifecta bet. No 8 City of Light (9/5) is the horse to beat and we could say the same of No 1 Limousine Liberal (2/1) but the one that attracts me is No 3 Whitmore (4/1) which is always in the end regardless of the speed of the event.

Proposed Bet: August 25th, Saratoga, race 9

Trifecta: 3 with 8 with 1,2,5,6,7 and 3 with 1,2,5,6,7 with 8 and 3 with 1,5,8 with 1,2,3,5,6,7, 8

(Trifecta: Choose the three horses that will finish in order at the finish line)

Race 10 (1½ Mile Turf | Rank 1 | 1 Million $), a Win Placed and Ranked on No 6 Bigger Picture. Another run of the most balanced and difficult to predict so I suggest a neglected No 6 Bigger Picture (8/1) who missed distance in the last race and there he will have 1 extra furlong that could help him.

Proposed Bet: August 25th, Saratoga, race 10

Win, Placed, Ranked: Horse No 6

(Win: the chosen horse must finish first at the finish line)

(Placed: the chosen horse must finish among the first two at the finish line)

(Ranked: Choose a horse that will finish in the top three at the finish line)

Race 11 (1½ M | Dirt | $ 1.2M), a $ 5 Exacta bet as well as two $ 2 Trifecta and a $ 1 Trifecta on No 9 Good Magic (2/1). I do not like to offer you a favorite because the risks are the same with less interesting returns. This race is different because since the beginning of the year, many of these horses ran together and despite the fact that many saw the winners ” Vino Rosso, Bravazo, Gronkowski, Mendlessohn ”, none of them resisted to Justify as Good Magic did. No 2 Wonder Gadot shows us excellent results but it could be abused because unlike the Harness, there are several contacts during a purebred race and in my opinion, it could be intimidated. No 11 Catholic Boy shows us two consecutives victories but on turf and there he will face the best on the dirt, which normally is not easy. No 9 Good Magic shows us three wins and two seconds when the track is fast and today’s conditions may be favorable.

Jockey: José Ortiz 18 % – Coach: Chad Brown 30 %

Proposed bet : August 25th, Saratoga, race 11

Exacta : 9 with 4,5,8,10

(Exacta: Choose two horses that must finish first and second, in the chosen order)

Key Trifecta : 9 with 2,4,5,8,10

Trifecta: 9 with 4,5,8,10 with 2,4,5,8,10,11

Trifecta: 4,5,8,10 with 9 with 2,4,5,8,10,11

(Trifecta: Choose the three horses that will finish in order at the finish line)

(Key: like a Box, the key allows you to buy all possible combinations but only the ones where the selected key horse is first. Be aware that every combination raises the ticket cost)
