A short distance specialist

At 9h00, on July 26, 2018 By Christian Gendron

On July 26th in Saratoga in the 7th race (6 Furlongs | Dirt | Maiden SW), a Win and Placed bet on No 6 Riverboat Gambler (6/1) as well as an Exacta on 6 with 1,2,3,4,6,9 and 1,2,3,4,6,9 with 6. This Maiden race (no career win) is full of young talented horses who will be either on their first or second start. No 3 Big Muddy paid at $ 850,000 will take a lot of action but his bridle suggests he will be better at long distances. My choice is Riverboat Gambler from Justin Phillip, a short distance specialist who won a Grade 1 race at Saratoga of 6 Furlongs in 1:08, which is very fast on the Dirt in addition to some slow track stakes and under the rain, what we may have tomorrow. The only downside is that jockey Leparoux is 0 in 16 from the start in Saratoga but he is still part of the elite.

Jockey: Julien Leparoux 13 % – Coach: Barbata Minshall 10 %

Proposed bet : July 26th, Saratoga, race 7

Win and Placed : 20 $ on horse No 6

(Win : the chosen horse must finish first at the finish line)

(Placed : the chosen horse must finish among the first two at the finish line)

Exacta: Horses 6 with 1,2,3,4,6,9 and 1,2,3,4,6,9 with 6 (6 with 1 – 6 with 2 – 6 with 3 etc and 1 with 6 – 2 with 6 – 3 with 6 etc)

(Exacta: Choose two horses that must finish first and second, in the chosen order)
