Hippodrome 3R adds race card Friday

Due to an overflow of harness racing horses, the Quebec Jockey Club today (May 11) has announced it will add a special Friday race program this week at the Hippodrome 3R with first race post time at 3:00 pm.
“Over the past two weeks,” said Murielle Thomassin, director of racing for H3R, “We have held 27 qualifying races and ten races on opening day. I have received phone calls from horse people in Ontario asking if they can come and race. So, the Quebec Jockey Club board of trustees has decided to add this additional Friday race card this week. We will race Friday at 3 pm and Sunday at 12:30 pm.”
There will be a double-draw at H3R on Wednesday (May 12). The entry box will open at 9 am and close at 11 am.
