Mr Jagermeister posts speedy final breeze ahead of the Hot Spring Stakes

Mr Jagermeister was in a hurry to complete major preparations for the $200,000 Hot Springs Stakes for older sprinters March 13 at Oaklawn.

Breezing over a fast track before the first surface renovation break Saturday morning at Oaklawn, Mr Jagermeister covered 5 furlongs in :58.80 under Rocco Bowen, a time that was the fastest of 45 works published at the distance.

“He worked awesome,” co-owner/trainer Valorie Lund said.

Mr Jagermeister, in his 2021 debut, finished third, beaten a length, in the $150,000 King Cotton Stakes Feb. 6 at Oaklawn.
