Aqueduct (T) – 7th race : (1) WARDENOFTHENORTH something clearly went wrong when last seen at Finger Lakes, as he appeared to detest the muddy track he encountered. Now he’s returning from a layoff for Linda Rice, who is 15 for 50 (30%) off layoffs at Aqueduct.

Gulfstream (T) – 8th race :  (4) YAMATO proved he could handle this 12-furlong marathon distance when he defeated this caliber of competition going a mile and a half 2 starts back.

Santa Anita (T) – 4th race : (5) MR. LOVEJOY returns from a three-month layoff in a starter allowance from which he cannot be claimed. The placement signals optimism, the 14-time winner fits the conditions perfectly.

Buffalo (H) – 9th race : (1)  R J P no excuse from this position.

Flamboro (H) – 6th race : (1) P L OSCAR won his last race, which was just a week ago. That was his season’s debut. He is back in the same class and gets the inside advantage.

Woodbine Mohawk (H) – 3rd race : (6) MILTARY SECRET was lights out racing off the Auciello claim and he gets the call to repeat at what is likely to be a short price.

Meadowlands (H) – 6th race : (7) MISSION ACCEPTED will he be ready or not ? Sometimes, it’s a very simple question. Most of the time, the Burke horses are ready!

Sam Houston (T) – 5th race : (5) ARYESCELESTICMAN MAN just missed in open company in last; back in with state breds

Turfway Park (T) – 4th race : (6) HIGH POWERED should be in good position stalking the pace under Gonzalez and can win with his best effort.
